The Role
As our Legal Operations Assistant, you will be the operational engine of the department, ensuring that documents move quickly and records remain spotless. You will act as a vital bridge in the company coordinating with internal departments to keep our global expansion running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Optimise legal workflows to provide rapid, high-quality responses to internal queries, incident reports, and official regulatory requests via Jira, ensuring a "zero-bottleneck" environment.
Ensure global compliance by coordinating regulatory filings, policy updates, and due diligence across multiple international jurisdictions.
Drive operational speed by managing the end-to-end signature process (DocuSign), ensuring all contracts are signed, filed, and distributed without delays.
Maintain organizational excellence by keeping our document repository and internal records updated, ensuring any file is retrievable in seconds.
Optimise cross-functional workflows, acting as the strategic bridge between Legal and other business units to accelerate project delivery.
Design and monitor KPIs that measure team productivity, identifying bottlenecks and implementing high-impact process improvements.
Standardise legal operations by assisting in the creation of playbooks and automated intake systems that empower the wider business to move faster.
Safeguard corporate health by managing governance records, signature protocols, and regulatory compliance projects.
Qualifications
A minimum of 3 + years of experience working with legal technology, specifically in implementing or managing Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems.
Exceptional organizational skills with a natural talent for managing high volumes of documentation and administrative tasks.
Tech-savvy mindset, comfortable learning and using tools like Jira, DocuSign, and digital filing systems.
High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in every document, signature, and record you handle.
Project management mindset with the ability to turn complex legal requirements into simple, documented workflows.
Fluent English is a must and additional languages is a bonus as you will liaise with a global team and partners.
Strong communication skills to translate legal needs into business-friendly language for stakeholders.
Good to have
Experience in an administrative or operations role within a startup/Legal environment.
Basic familiarity with legal documents or contract workflows.
