Job Description

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and managing accounts using Xero, ApprovalMax and Dext accounting software. This role requires someone who can work independently and has a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records using Xero accounting software.
Process accounts payable and manage addition of new vendors as they arise
Query resolution relating to invoices with Finance Manager and heads of department
Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
Prepare financial statements and reports.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
Handle payroll processing and related tasks.
Manage employee expense claims ensuring they are aligned with policy
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial procedures.
Provide support during audits.
