The Role

In this role, you will lead, plan, and manage resources, estimates, costs, and deliverables for all telecommunications projects, serving as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will oversee the integration of new players into the company’s expanding ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• The role involves developing comprehensive project plans, defining project scope, RACI Matrix, deliverables, and creating detailed work breakdown structures.

• Build and keep the project documentation to provide a clear understanding of the scope, stakeholder identification, goals and deliverables for every project.

• Ensure project transparency by facilitating team communication, conducting routing syncs, and providing executive briefings.

• Proactively manage information flow between departments via regular meetings and tailored updates for stakeholders and executives.

• Monitor project progress to proactively identify potential roadblocks, resource constraints and risks. Lead troubleshooting efforts, facilitate solutioning sessions and own the outcome to keep projects on track.

• Take ownership of the project lifecycle by relentlessly chasing deliverables, ensuring accountability, and validating the completion of all project analysis and milestones to guarantee successful and timely outcomes.

• Ensuring the comprehensive delivery of project milestones by managing cross-departmental workflows and overseeing rigorous technical and operational analysis. .

• Managing the end-to-end delivery of projects with a heavy technical emphasis on telecom network architecture and feature deployment. .

• Managing the technical delivery of telecom initiatives, serving as the primary liaison between IT and Product departments to streamline systems integration and core network functionality.

• Strongly interact with the Technology departments so the Carrier department is well provided by the available technologies.

• Strongly interact with the Technology departments so the Carrier department initiatives are well integrated in the company business to provide the most value.

Technical & Professional Skills

• Professional Background: 8+ years of experience in Telco Project Manager with a proven track of complex projects sometimes managing from scratch.

• Communication skills:
  - Technical Translation: Expert at bridging the gap by translating complex network requirements into clear business value for non-technical executives.
  - Stakeholder Influence: Strong negotiation skills to align conflicting priorities between Engineering, Product, and external partners.

• Project Management Skills:
  - Methodology: Expertise in full-lifecycle Project Management, with proficiency in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies, underpinned by PMI/PRINCE2 frameworks and Lean Six Sigma principles.
  - Advanced Project Scheduling (Gantt & Roadmapping): Expertise in developing complex, multi-phase Gantt charts to visualize critical paths and dependencies in network deployments. This includes the ability to manage lead times for hardware procurement and orchestrate technical milestones across concurrent workstreams.
  - Project Performance Analytics (Tracking & Reporting): Proficiency in generating data-driven Project Tracking Reports utilizing KPIs like Schedule Variance (SV) and Task Completion Rates. Skilled in providing stakeholders with high-level visibility into project health through automated dashboards and executive summaries.

• Strategic Risk Mitigation & Contingency Planning: Advanced capability in Risk Management, including the identification, quantification, and prioritization of technical and operational risks. Proven track record of developing robust mitigation strategies for common telco hurdles, such as regulatory delays or vendor supply chain disruptions.

• Financial Oversight & Cost Engineering: Strong command of Project Cost Management, encompassing budget estimation (CAPEX/OPEX), resource allocation, and burn-rate monitoring. Skilled in maintaining financial integrity by aligning project expenditures with corporate fiscal targets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English to collaborate across our global hubs (Spanish would be an asset).

• Expertise in Wrike, Google Workspace and Jira/Confluence for process documentation and tracking.

• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on business risk management and detail gathering.

Bonus Points

• Experience in B2B Carrier Operations or provider-side contract management.

• University degree in, Telecommunication Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Business Analytics, Business Administrator, Information Systems.
