The Role

As our Commercial Legal Counsel, you will protect and propel Holafly's global expansion by delivering high-impact commercial legal strategy. You will act as a trusted partner to our business units, ensuring our international partnerships, product rollouts, and supplier agreements are legally robust and commercially sound.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end negotiations and drafting for high-value commercial, marketing, service, and strategic partnership agreements.

• Enable compliant product scaling by providing practical legal advice on technology, consumer law, and global telecommunications regulations.

• Mitigate corporate risk across international jurisdictions while maintaining business agility and supporting global expansion initiatives.

• Shield company assets by overseeing data protection compliance and managing intellectual property licensing strategies.

Qualifications

• Qualified Lawyer in Ireland, the UK, or Portugal with 4–5 years of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE).

• Native English speaker with exceptional written and verbal legal communication skills.

• Proven track record independently drafting, and negotiating complex commercial agreements (e.g., MSAs, NDAs, IP licensing).

• Strong technical command of data privacy regulations, intellectual property law, and commercial contract principles.

Nice to Have

• Being bilingual in Spanish and English is highly advantageous to collaborate effectively with our global teams.

• Prior experience in high-growth start-ups, technology, or telecommunications sectors or in a law firm and with relevant experience

• Familiarity with international contract negotiations and EU regulatory frameworks.
